Volunteers

The Child Abuse History is required by law by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

All volunteers must submit an updated Child Abuse History every three years.  This must be completed before a volunteer can begin working.

The Criminal Record Check is required by law by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

All volunteers submit a Criminal Record Check every three years.  This must be completed before a volunteer can begin working.

The FBI Clearance is required by law by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  Anyone who has lived in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for less than 10, consecutive years must submit a fingerprint based, federal criminal history (through the FBI).  This is submitted through the Pennsylvania State Police (or its' authorized agent).

All volunteers must submit an FBI Clearance every three years so long as they have not lived in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the last ten (10) years.  This must be completed before a volunteer can begin working.

The FBI Clearance is required by law by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  Anyone who has lived in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for 10 or more, consecutive years must a disclosure statement acknowledging that the volunteer is not a perpetrator of a founded report of child abuse within the last 5 years.

All volunteers, who have lived in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for ten (10) or more consecutive years must submit a disclosure statement every three years.  This must be completed before a volunteer can begin working.

Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification required by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

This form is required to be completed if the volunteer has been arrested.  This must be completed before a volunteer can begin working.

Safe Environment Training is required by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and is targeted at assisting volunteers in recognizing abuse.

All volunteers must complete this live training course once.  This must be completed before the completion of the volunteer's first season.

Mandated Reporter is required by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and is targeted at assisting volunteers in knowing their responsibilities in reporting suspected abuse.

Coaches Orientation training is required by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and is targeted at helping coaches organize and run effective programs.

All coaches must complete this training only once.  This must be completed by the start the volunteers 2nd season.

Catholic Coaching Essentials is required by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.  Coaches who cannot attend Coaches Orientation (see above) before starting their first season of coaching must complete this course.  Coaches who complete Coaches Orientation (see above) before their first season of coaching are not required to complete this course.

Coaches who have attended a Coaches Orientation session do NOT have to complete this course.
