2025-2026 Basketball Registration is Now Open!

Program Information

Registration for the 2025-2026 St. Bede’s CYO Basketball season is now open! St.

Bede’s CYO Basketball plays in Region 19 of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Basketball registration is open to all eligible athletes in Grades K-8 and 9-12 boys. The

basketball program is broken into divisions as follows:

• K-2
• Novice (3rd-4th)
• JV (5th-6th)
• Varsity (7th-8th)
• High School JV Boys (9th-10th)
• High School Varsity Boys (11th-12th)

Schedules are not known; however, here are some guidelines:

• Tryouts and evaluations will be early November.
• All practice days and times are announced by the coaches once the season begins.
• Games can be any day of the week.
• K-2 is a developmental session that will run Saturday mornings 8:00 – 9:30 AM starting the 1st Saturday in December and ending the 3rd Saturday in February.

Registration Caps

Due to ever decreasing gym availability both at St. Bede’s and in our access to outside facilities, we are limited in our numbers. We will close registration if our capacity at a specific division is reached prior to the closure dates. This is on a 1^st come, 1^st serve basis no matter what grade you child is in or how many years s/he has played.

Late registrations will be added to a waitlist and the waitlist will considered on a case-by-case basis (how many years your child has been in the program has no bearing on the decision). We do not guarantee if you register late that your child will be able to play.

Eligibility

Before registering, please review the Eligibility Policy in the Policies section of our website. Please note that as of the 2024-2025 season, Assumption parishioners who attend SKD school are no longer eligible. We sincerely apologize for any confusion.

Registration will close as follows:

• Sep 30th: 3^rd – 8^th Grade
• Nov 3rd: K – 2^nd grade
• Nov 3rd: 9^th – 12^th grade boys

Costs

Before 19 September:

• K – 2^nd: $115
• 3^rd – 12^th: $215

All registrations after 19 September will incur a $15 per athlete additional fee.
